Hi, I'm Jim Braswell. Thanks for visitng my site.
I hope this helps provides you with the information you and your
neighbors need in order to make an informed decision about the
future of our state on September 14th, and again on November
2nd.
This election is about choices and about the values that define
our community. Instead of trying to impress you with my
credentials, I would rather tell you who I am and why I am running.
I grew up in Pasadena. I am the son of a machinist turned
machine shop owner and a school teacher. I deeply value the
friendships that I have made and my family.
I define success in simple terms: doing the right thing and doing
it for the right reasons. I don't want to represent you in Annapolis
because it is a career ambition, nor do I want to be your
Delegate to see my name in bold headlines in the paper. I want
to serve the people of District 31 as the Delegate that represents
your needs, your concerns, and your values in Annapolis. We
need leaders who will provide a public service, not lip service, to
the residents and citizens of our communities.
In Maryland, we find ourselves at a crossroads. So many of our
friends, neighbors, and family members are finding tough times;
as workers, as parents, as business owners. People like my
parents, my friends. I work to make sure that we can live in a
Maryland that does right by them.
I hope that you will join us; together we can do great things for
District 31.
